AP Environmental Science Explores Energy Sources
The AP Environmental Science students are currently learning about Renewable and Non-Renewable energy sources in class. As a major assessment for this unit, they have been tasked with creating a group presentation for a specific renewable energy source. Each group is to approach the project as if they were a corporation trying to sell their form of energy to a town that currently uses fossil fuels. They have written a research paper on their topic, designed a sales poster, and created an oral presentation to sell their product in class to a group of "town council members".
I am extremely proud of the work these students have put into these projects and hope that teaching their peers about their energy source will instill in them the knowledge they need to be successful on the exam at the end of the year.
