The Spanish Club, headed up by faculty member Sandra Pabst, is made up of over 40 students whose mission is to raise money to help support various organizations each year. By selling empanadas and coffee, through their proceeds, the club was able to supply an orphanage in Panama with an iPad, bless a Title 1 school with school supplies, and donate three 3D printers to PCA’s STEM program! The Spanish Club presented the new 3D printers to Mr. Zubia in their last club meeting of the year. Being the largest club at PCA, we are excited to see how these students will bless others in the years ahead.

Last week, PCA Band Director, Mike Doll, invited the 3rd through 5th grade music classes to his 6th-grade band class. Mr. Doll wanted to showcase the middle school kids and how they adjusted the band program during this past year due to COVID, including not being able to start playing instruments until January instead of August.

Despite the setbacks, the 6th-grade band proved they had resilience and their performance was a hit! “It was so fun to hear about their accomplishments in the crazy mixed-up year,” said elementary music teacher Pam Hall. “We are so proud of our 6th grade band class and we thank them for sharing the joy of music with us. Thank you Mr. Doll!”
