Discovering Reptiles Of The Lowcountry

Mr. Matt Olson from the Environmental Education Center at the City of Charleston came back to visit the PCA kindergarten classes, this time to educate them about reptiles! His friends, including a small turtle, a bearded dragon, and a snake came to help. The students learned all about habitats, eating habits, and temperature of their blood. As always there were lots of comments, “He feels rough,” “why is the snake's tongue sticking out?” and “No thank you, I do not want to touch the bearded dragon!” All in all, the students had a lot of fun learning about their new friends.
