Carleigh attended Western Carolina University where she graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and Chemistry. She is thrilled to be teaching at PCA and is excited to show her students the wonders of God's creation through science. Carleigh is passionate about teaching because she loves to see students learn and light up as they make their own discoveries. In her free time, Carleigh spends her time at the Serpentarium or doing anything outdoorsy or artsy. She loves to explore different environments and learn all about the organisms who live there. But, she also loves to paint and bake; seeing all the pieces start as individual things and come together into something new reminds her that chemistry is incorporated in our lives in many different ways.
