Lauren graduated from Trident Technical College with an Associates in Early Childhood Education. She has over 15 years experience working in Christian Preschools. Outside of the  classroom, Lauren enjoys family outings to the beach, attending Church and Sunday school at Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian and cooking for her family. She and her husband Duane, married in 2002 and are parents to Steven,19 and Ashley, a Junior at PCA.
