Marcia earned a B.S. in Science with a certification in education from Central Michigan University. She recently received a Masters in Science from Western Governors University with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction. Marcia has more than 20 years of science teaching experience ranging from life and physical science in the middle school grades to the majority of her experience in chemistry and physics in the high school grades. Marcia had taught at James Island Christian and Faith Christian before first coming to PCA in 2012.  Marcia left PCA in 2015 to pursue work in group home ministry. Marcia has a love for science and a passion to ignite the love of science and seeing God in the creation He has made in her students.
