Mary Jane has a Master’s in Education, National Board Certification, and has an Associate Certification from the Orton Gillingham Academy. Mary Jane joined PCA in 2020 as a 3rd grade teacher and then taught Integrated Kindergarten for three years before becoming the Lower School Instructional Coach. She taught previously in Charleston County School District for 33 years (30) at Sullivan’s Island Elementary. Mary Jane and her husband, Bill, have 2 married daughters and a new granddaughter. They have been members at East Cooper Baptist since 2005, where they have always served in Children's Ministry and Missions. They are actively involved in a ministry that helps refugees in the Middle East.
