Denae Beckett
3rd Grade TeacherDenae graduated from Bob Jones University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She also completed graduate work at Clemson University (GO TIGERS!) and Grand Canyon University. Denae’s teaching career started 16 years ago and has included 11 years in kindergarten, 1 year in K-5th grade Music, 3 years in first grade, 1 year in second grade and now 3rd! She started her career in Greenville and Anderson County public schools for the first 9 years before transitioning to private education. She is excited to have landed here at PCA and plans to make this her home for as long as God allows! Denae considers It is a blessing to have all three of her children here at PCA as well. She has a son in middle school, a boy in 5th, and a girl in 4th grade. Her husband's job moved them here from the upstate in 2019. He is a Game Warden for Upper Charleston and loves serving his community. In her free time, Denae enjoys instructing fishing in our school fishing club or during one of her summer fishing camps. Her family loves to camp, hunt, fish, hike, and get out on one of the beautiful waterways every chance they get. Lowcountry life has proven to be the perfect place for Denae’s family. She considers it a blessing to call this place home and to serve the Lord with the amazing people in this community.
