Melissa received both her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and her Masters from Michigan State University. She currently works as a 1st grade teacher at PCA, as she has done since 2011. When working on her Masters, Melissia completed a full year teaching internship in a 4th grade class in Okemos, Michigan, and has since had the opportunity to work with preschool through ninth grade. She and her husband, Mike, were married in 2014.
