Connie Meadows
What do you teach? Fourth Grade.
What is your educational background? I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Pensacola Christian College.
How many years have you taught? This is my 28th year teaching. I attended a Christian school in North Charleston from kindergarten through high school. After college, I returned to that same school where I taught for 10 years. During my high school years and my first 10 years of teaching, Mr. Bill Schenkel was my principal, mentor, and co-worker. I moved to Macon, Georgia in 2000 where I taught in two different Christian schools. After returning to Charleston in 2017, I was a substitute at PCA before being hired full time in 2018.
What's on your bucket list? I love to travel, but I haven't visited the one place that has been on my bucket list since I was a child. I hope to one day spend a couple of weeks visiting the Hawaiian islands.
What skill would you love to learn? I have played the piano since I was 8 years old, but I would love to learn how to play the cello.
What are some of your favorite games to play? I enjoy all board games, but I especially love Monopoly because it's one of the games that my family regularly plays when we're together. I also love getting outside and playing beach volleyball.
What do you love most about PCA? I'm extremely thankful for the wonderful Christian teachers and staff I work with here at PCA. This school is also blessed with an amazing group of parents that love and support the teachers. PCA is a family that I'm honored to be a part of.
