The Fighting Eagles Beat Northside Christian 54 - 8
Palmetto Christian rolled over Northside Christian 54 to 8 on Senior Night with all 5 seniors scoring TD's. Connor Rourk rushed 7 times for 107 yards w/ 2 TD's and was 11 for 14 for 187 yards w/ 3 TD's. He also intercepted a pass and returned it 46 yards for a TD. Carson Rourk caught 4 passes for 83 yards, including a 65 yard TD and added 6 tackles with 1 pass breakup. Wyatt Shogren caught 4 passes for 65 yards with a TD and added 3 tackles on defense. Kendall Chakeris scored a TD on a 46 yard run and added 2 tackles and 1 tackle for a loss. Ethan Lowther caught 3 passes for 39 yards w/ a TD and had 6 tackles on defense.
Other strong performances came from Joe Pascutti who recorded 6 tackles from his LB position, Grayson Campbell who rushed 4 times for 29 yards and had 4 tackles on defense, and Jamison Howard who recorded 4 tackles.
"What a great way to end our regular season with all five of our seniors scoring touchdowns, and all of our younger guys getting to play the last 2 quarters of the game," says Coach Kevin Rourk. "I'm so proud of this team for taking on the challenges that this season presented and giving it 100-percent effort at all times. This is a special group of guys and I am honored to have served as their coach."

The Fighting Eagles wrap up the season with a 9-1 record! But, we're excited to announce that we have added a "bowl" game to our schedule! The Fighting Eagles will travel to Greer this Friday night to take on the Greenville Hurricanes at 7:30 pm. The address is East Riverside Park, 1155 S Suber Road. Take a road trip to cheer on the team!
