Read Across America Day: Celebrating Dr. Seuss
Our first graders recently celebrated Read Across America Day, which is also the birthday of Dr. Seuss. They dressed up as their favorite Dr. Seuss characters - One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. Some of the students also dressed up as the Grinch, the Lorax, Thing 1 and Thing 2, Cindy Lou Who, and Cat in the Hat. The children did Dr. Seuss activities all day by practicing our rhyming words and by using our comprehension tools to read his books. We had a great day celebrating a great author!
