Earlier this year, PCA entered three Lower School students in the Zaner Bloser National Handwriting contest. Last Wednesday morning, Violet Colona (2nd grade), Taylor Meyer (3rd grade), and Mary Campbell Neely (4th grade) were recognized for being selected to represent their grade level in this year's contest.

Taylor Meyer was named as the South Carolina State Grade-Level winner in the contest and is representing the state of South Carolina at the national level for third grade. The entries are still being evaluated to determine who will be named as the National Grade-Level Semifinalist and Grand National Championship winners.

Lower School Principal, Mrs. Tracy Cox shared, "All three of the young ladies that represented PCA this year submitted quality writing samples for the contest. I am proud of them and so excited that Taylor was selected as the state winner this year. We plan on participating in the contest in future years and look forward to seeing how PCA students can continue to represent our school and our state in the contest."
