Middle School Student Gets 2nd Place in State Writing Competition
The excitement builds as the results from our middle school writing project continue to roll in! Sixth grader Scotty Wrenn received notification that she placed 2nd in the state competition for the Patriots Pen "What American Means To Me" writing competition! Scotty also took home a $300 prize! Although PCA students often place in the competition at the local level and move on to state, we have not placed in the state competition before.
Scotty has been invited to a banquet in Greenville, South Carolina to read her essay. Good luck Scotty and PCA is proud of you !
