Middle School Choirs Receive Top Ratings!
Carowinds’ Festival of Music is one of the most anticipated and celebrated student performance events in the Carolinas. Middle and high school concert bands, jazz ensembles, orchestras, and choral ensembles are invited to showcase their skills.
This past weekend, PCA's Middle School Choirs and Bands traveled to Carowinds to participate and had a fantastic trip. This time of fun and fellowship was a blast for the more than one hundred students and chaperones making the trip. The choirs performed beautifully at the festival with both choirs earning high scores.
The 6th Grade Choir earned an excellent rating singing "Hine Ma Tov" and " El Cielo Canta Alegria", and the 7th & 8th Grade Choir earned a superior rating singing "Haida" and "Where the Light Begins".
In addition to the excitement over their incredible performances, students were also thrilled to get the opportunity to spend some time together enjoying the rides at Carowinds Amusement Park.
