Clubs & Organizations
At Palmetto Christian Academy, upper school students are encouraged and supported as they enjoy, explore, and commit to their personal interests and passions. There are a wide variety of clubs and activities designed for this purpose. Students find that joining a club is a great way to get involved in campus life, meet other students, and, of course, to simply have fun.
Student Clubs & Organizations
National Honor Society
The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921.
Student Government Association
The Student Government Association is designed to provide PCA upper school students with representation, services, and advocacy within the school structure. The association provides quality leadership for, and accountability to, its constituency by recognizing that strength arises from engagement and dialogue with faculty and staff.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes
Since 1954, Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful platform of sport to reach every coach and every athlete with the transforming power of Jesus Christ. FCA focuses on serving local communities around the globe by engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to unite, inspire and change the world through the gospel.
Eagle Ambassadors
Eagle Ambassadors is a club where student leaders are intentional about bringing the school's values of love, honor, and obey into the every day experience. Members represent our school to prospective students and families by leading tours during the admissions process. Each student leader also works to promote a positive culture within the school, as well as serve the community in various ways.
Spanish Club
The Spanish Club offers students wonderful opportunities to broaden their academic experience with exposure to the Hispanic-speaking world right here in Charleston. The club is a great way to meet other students interested in Spanish-speaking countries, cultures, history, film, and literature.
Science Club
The Science Club is the place for students who are interested in science to learn about all scopes of science from medicine to chemistry to physics to the environment. We discuss how to use this conceptual basis for applications in the real world. Trips are taken to museums, aquariums, and state parks.
Architecture, Engineering & Design Club
The Architecture, Engineering & Design Club introduces students to careers related to architecture, engineering, and design through field trips, speakers, and conversations with professionals. It's a favorite of our advanced math students as well as Honors Art 2, AP Art & Design, and Graphic Design courses.
Palmetto Players Theatre Group

Fishing Club
Our Fishing Club is designed to bring together students who have a passion for fishing or simply want to learn more about the sport. Club members meet twice a month to hear from angler experts, enjoy monthly outings to local fishing spots, and compete in fishing tournaments. Students in grades 3-12 are invited to join.
