Coach Jim Daniel is in his second year as the athletic director at PCA. After playing football at North Carolina State from 1986-1990, Coach Daniel began his coaching career as an NC State graduate assistant under his college coach, Dick Sheridan.
Daniel was promoted to Assistant Coach and stayed there until 1994. During his tenure there, Coach Dick Sheridan was a major influence in Daniel’s life. Under Sheridan, Daniel learned how to run a football program and how to pay attention to the details.
Daniel’s career also consisted of coaching at Charleston Southern University, the Citadel, and at Bishop England High School.
His goal at PCA is to develop a dominating athletic program. His focus is helping develop the student athlete to excel in not only athletics but in the total mind, body and spirit.
Coach Daniel and his wife Melissa have four sons under the age of 7 years old. Coach Daniel has a plan to make PCA at the top of the rankings in every sport and plans to stay at PCA until his sons graduate high school.
